Ten Days Until The Summer Really Starts

Ten days until the day I leave from here.
Ten days until the long awaited dream.
Ten days until the doldrums fade away.
Ten days until I ride a splendid ride.

Today's the special day that summer starts.
For weeks I've had my papers ready, packed,
And soon I'll gather all my worldly things
That I might need while I am off abroad.
I've called the bank, to let them know of this
So I can use the UK's ATMs.
Now all I need to do is book a coach
To travel from the airport to the Fen.

Adventure waits for me across the sea.
I'm ready. Let me at the land of tea!
